When Aurélie called me for her first maternity session she was initially calling for a "studio" session. Tough luck for me but I told her I would get her in contact with some good photographers for her session. We ended up talking on the phone for over a half hour and that was that.
A week later I got a call back from her saying that she absolutely wanted me to take her pictures and wanted to see if I would be able to do some "studio" shots. I am a natural light photographer so I that was going to be a little complicated but we talked about it and made it work! We ended up doing a couple natural light studio shots in her home and did the rest as a lifestyle shoot. After that first pregnancy I ended up doing her daughter's newborn session and a couple years later... a new pregnancy and newborn session! Yay!!!!
I love working with my families to get exactly what they want out of their shoot! I know they chose me for my work and my visual identity (aka. Style), but I am always happy to put their vision forward for their memories :) I'm so happy they chose me as their family photographer.
